How can I partner with Priority [15]?

First give

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21).  Jesus says that our hearts will follow our pocket book. If you give to missions you are more likely to pray for the mission to be accomplished. If you pray for missions you are more likely to go, serve and preach the good news.

Pick one of the 15 strategic areas and organize your family, friends and church to spend 100 hours of prayer for them. As you intercede on their behalf God will help you to see the world the way that he sees it. You can help plant a church, among one of these Priority [15] groups, through focused, fervent prayer.

...but not for 2 to 3 weeks; for 10 to 15 years. A couple of years ago we performed a survey of medical students and discovered that 90% had served on a short-term medical mission team. The short-term mission trip is now an integral part of the Western Church, but are they beneficial in accomplishing the Great Commission?

In The Future of the Global Church, Patrick Johnstone demonstrates that the most fruitful years of missionary service are between years 7 and 15. We need committed disciples to serve as career missionaries in order to lay a foundation for the gospel where it has never been before. This will only come about through long-term, committed, sacrificial service.
